Nice beer , friendly staff ,good prices
The Mount was a great pub in the sixties when I started going there. It continues to be a proper pub, a local. Well run by Louise, it is still a friendly welcoming proper pub.
Excellent sunday lunch real home cooking
Went to the mount pleasant on Sunday for a cooked dinner and was extremely impressed with both the service and meal.
Our waitress was extremely busy and despite this, made sure we were taken care of and never went without, serving with a constant smile.
My family and I didn't have to wait long for food at all. The starter was delicious (leek and potato soup), which was followed by a beef dinner, cooked to perfection and roast potatoes that makes you wish you could have a gigantic bowl to yourself.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and for the price you can't go wrong. Don't take my word for it check it out for yourself .
Lovely staff and good decor. Seating outside a plenty of parking best pub in the area. Pleasant by name and pleasant by nature. Definitely going there again.
