Had a really lovely afternoon here. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and polite. It was very Christmassy with all the decorations and of course the beautiful views from the windows. Will definitely be coming back!
Best cooked dinner in Newport area that can be delivered or collected, and all comes on a micro safe plate to warm up if needed, would give 6 stars if able 👍👍
Love this place, it's a proper pub with a cosy atmosphere brilliant waitresses and fab food and drinks. Our family favourite for a treat and we're content that they're Covid safe too. Hopefully someone just as good will take over the licence and retain its cosiness without having to turn it into yet another soul-less 'Gastro pub' chain
Good food great service. Comfortable eating area. Prices reasonable.
Sorry to go so low on this once cracking pub. But the food isnt the best and it just doesn't warrent much more than the 2 stars I've given the place. Very mediocre food. Another party of people when we got there rolled their eyes when I asked how their meal was. As I was at the bar somebody else was getting their money back after complaining. Drink here but avoid the food.
