Accommodating despite of our late arrival
Excellent meal at The Borderer. It was huge! I ended up taking a large doggy bag home. Very friendly and helpful waitress. Felt very safe here too with CV restrictions adhered to.
Breakfast was lovely, well adapted to the social distancing.
Last night myself, my partner and his parents went to the Harvester for dinner. From Monday to Wednesdays it’s 50% off main meals. Once you book on the app you can apply for a voucher which shows as a barcode in the wallet section of the app so a very good offer and incentive to go. Booking online is quick and easy. When we arrived you are informed by a sign on the door to put masks on until you are seated when you can take them off. When away from your table either for going to the toilet, going to the unlimited salad bar or entering/leaving the restaurant masks need to be put on. I ordered the 8oz steak with no sauce by preference and when it came to the table it looked very lost on the plate. Two onion rings, two small mushrooms, a small handful of peas and the steak in the middle. It would have looked better if the plate was smaller personally. The waitress that served us had a glowing personality, very funny and made our experience great. Parking on site is free and staff will ask for a car reg. Very authentic looking restaurant overall.
