Beautiful cemetery park, rich in both history and biodiversity. Many winding paths, each as interesting as the last. There are several old war graves, with their distinctive style of headstone and a beautiful restored war memorial. The central chapel is sadly in a bit of a state, with clear signs of deterioration. Hopefully there will be the possibility of restoration. There is also much biodiversity at the site, with an abundance of birds, butterflies and other bugs. Many trees have a plaque nearby telling visitors what they are, which is very interesting.

An immediately new favorite spot in London. As beautiful and serene as it is quirky and mysterious. Many paths to take and gravestones to inspect. A perfect setting to sit and read, take the dog for a walk, see trees from the 1800s, and discover a bit of Victorian London.

Lovely place. Paths between the headstones, each one telling its own story. Tranquil and Leafy.

Lots of people don't know about Abney Park cemetery because it looks small from the street, but it is actually enormous and wonderful if you like melancholy and vegetation. Always quiet, entirely possible to get lost in, cleans your brain out. There's also a ruined chapel and small information boards about decayed trees.

An enchanting woodland of copses, corpses, trunks and tranquillity. This well-kept space presents opportunity to escape the hubbub and reflect on the fascinating history of its development and residents. Definitely worth a visit or three
