Nice pub but food average. It used to be excellent. Probably the result of covid.
Not quite as it has been since earlier this year and with the Covid causing such havoc despite their very best efforts things have not come back to normal
As a regular user I do believe that as soon as this emergency is over the management will bring back the old Star Inn and welcome back the community.
Great pub serving excellent tasty meals with friendly efficient staff. Dog friendly offering treats after meal. Definitely recommend

Went there after funeral we all ate food outside meals all serve at tables quickly and every nice
