I have recently joined this surgery as I have moved address. My first experience of dealing with the receptionist has not been a great one. The staff had no idea the information they need to provide for my query, I was asked to go to the surgery to pick up some information. The next day I visited the surgery and the lady printed out something and put it in an envelope and didn't tell me anything. When I got home I opened it and I realised it's a form. I was very confused as to why I was given a form with no information and what I needed to do next. So I called the surgery again, the same lady picked up the phone and said I should just turn up to the hospital with the form and book an appointment. My question to her was "why would I need to go to Newham hospital to book an appointment, why can't I do it on the phone" her answer was "yes maybe you can call them". I asked her for the number I should call to book the appointment which I received the response of 'we do not have the number' She has failed to provide me the basic information! I am surprised at how incompetent a member of staff at the surgery is.  How can someone possibly get a job at a GP surgery when they cannot provide the most basic information to a patient?!? There are few things that needs to be considered by the management of the surgery: 1. Train your staff properly / provide adequate professional development for staff 2. Make sure they are aware of how to advice patients on the next step. 3. If the staff are not sure about something, they should be told to refer it to a member of staff that can provide advice. As a new patient I am very disappointed of my first experience and most definitely reconsidering my choice of surgery. I would recommend that people consider and research all information before joining this surgery

Over a year ago, I had really bad experience and complained. Since then, they have on boarded new staff who are open, helpful and enabling, phone access to service is now brilliant. Despite lockdown, I no longer feel like a statistic and my son can access services with ease. My doctor is accessible, professional and responsive. I would like to publicly thank all staff for their professional approach. I commend you and change my rating from zero to heroes and heroines!

Absolute shambles of a place, don’t know how they’re still able to operate as a medical practice. Receptionist are so rude too!
