Stopped for a quick coffee mid afternoon.
Friendly staff.
I lived here as a boy 40 years ago, changed since then.
Would recommend, did not eat here so can't coment on food.
A nice country pub that has struggled for many years to be recognised for what it is. We received a friendly welcome when we called in for a pint after an evening walk and I think it's time to sample a meal there again after a gap of many years since dining there last.
Great place. Great food and really helpful staff. Will be back!
Nice pub well decorated, unfortunately the highlight of my meal was the beautiful dark haired waitress. It seems to me that more effort is spent on presentation rather than taste.
Prawn starter was overcooked and the dressing did not work. The beef main wasn't too bad to be fair but the beef was overcooked for me.
Would give this place another go maybe the chef was having a bad day.
An excellent pub serving a great range of drinks and quality food. They're clearly and important part of the local community and the staff are incredibly welcoming to all.
