We visited their website and looked forward to visit the castle as it was a treat for my husband's 66th birthday and....it is CLOSED UNTIL APRIL, open only under appointment. So....WHY you don't clearly state that on the website?? We are new in Moray, we shall return in April but...it spoiled the day a bit...

Well maintained, informative and beautiful. A little expensive, but by joining National trust scotland you can avoid large entrance bills, by paying a much smaller annual fee. Visit two NTS venues with two adults, two children and it's paid for itself.
