Called in whilst staying overnight in Knighton. Very friendly staff and a superb lamb hotpot. Social distancing observed which is always reassuring. Made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Many thanks 😊

Popped in and asked to borrow a pen. Manager picked a Bic biro from a pot behind the bar. Noticing I wanted to write a card, she then selected a superior Ink Joy pen. Tiny detail greatly appreciated.

Pre-lockdown visit to Knighton, booked in advance. Restaurant located in old HSBC Bank (the vault still used as a seating area!) Took advantage of the Monday "Steak Night" offer for two, including bottle of wine. Excellent Sirloin cooked to order (rare) with additional accompanying sauces. Well kept cellar standards of Real Ale. Deserves a five star rating.

Superb service and people! However the food was such a let down. We were really looking forward to it and it didn't hit the spot.
