Good local pub with nice food and good C-19 precautions in place. Liver and onions served in generous portion with lovely jacket potato and peas. Mixed grill was ok, sausage slightly overcooked but otherwise nice. Excellent lasagne and tasty chicken tikka served half and half. Great range of desserts, served with choice of got or cold custard, pouring cream or ice cream. Good portions at a very reasonable price. Family friendly too.

Really enjoyed a mixed grill at lunchtime! Perfectly cooked, tender steak, gammon, large lamb chop and sausage with chips and peas followed by the most lush, home made waffle with ice cream (to die for) and white chocolate sauce! Had an added surprise of 20% the bill during September! Everything is reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, welcoming and attentive and the Covid safety measures that were in place were exceptional. They really have gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe! No one could do better! Will most definitely be back soon for my waffle fix! 😋🤣 Thank you all! Stay safe! 🌈

Service was really really slow waited over an hour for main food and 20 minutes for drinks!, pepper corn sauce was like wall paper paste (no joke was terrible). I have been bard all day from eating there

Been here several times and everything has been fine, the staff are really friendly But went there this week and what a disappointing experience, I had mixed Grill and my partner had 10oz.Steak. My partner asked for mash instead of chips and was charged an extra £1! And her meal didn't come with peas, so another £1 was charged for those too ? So her meal came to £14.99 and an extra £2 for 3 pieces of garlic bread ! My mixed Grill was cooked lovely but the portions were sparse. Small piece of steak, and two chops, very thin, and one sausage with peas but no mushrooms, which I had last time I had mixed Grill, no Gammon or egg either, which should be standard on this meal, I have had this meal in loads of pubs and restaurants over the years and this was truly the smallest portions I have ever had, and for £12 .99 I expected more. I was also charged £3.75 for 6 onion rings ! And while enjoyed what I did have, it was spoilt by a man who didn't stop talking loadly, the whole time we was there. Unlike Arnie " I won't be back "

Fantastic food great value and lots of it. Down fall is that I spent two hours there they need more staff. Will go again though best meal I've had for long time.
