Took my wife out for her birthday. We arrived, was shown to our table and ordered drinks. We had a fabulous meal. The service was excellent with cheerful and lovely staff. I'd certainly recommend this place! Looking forward to returning.

Absolutely delicious salmon starter at the Railway. It was so nice to have something a little bit different and the orange and gin hollandaise with beetroot crumb was out of this world! Massive compliments to the chef. We also ordered the garlic mushrooms and those were delightful too. The roast dinner mains were also lovely; the meat especially. This was the nicest Sunday roast that I've had locally, by far, beating the likes of Butterflies, Jolly Colliers etc. I'd highly recommend you giving the Railway a try. The staff were lovely, the restaurant itself was very nicely decorated, and we felt it was a safe environment to eat out. I've told all my friends to go try the salmon starter! Divine!

Really nice food, reservations is highly recommended. We just rocked up and as a small party of 3 and we got a place outside. The inside is very inviting and had a great feel to the place. We did have issues with card payments being so far away from the main hub. But this is no reflexion on the place or staff that where attentive and friendly.

Good food good service. My belly pork dish with buttered, mustard mash and and sauce was. beautifully tender But mash and sauce was a bit rich for my taste. Well cooked well presented. And great service.

I took my wife and children as we hadn't been since the new owners had taken over. It's all well laid out and the meal was incredible (medium rare steak cooked perfectly), the prices were on par with other places locally and the staff were really friendly. Would definitely reccomend.
