Princeton University Art Museum is an amazing contemporary art museum! It is full of interesting, whimsical, and varied medium art. It's clear that the building was thoughtfully designed inside and out. From the 'veil' to the 'oculus' and the escalator 'tunnel' there's something to look at around every corner.
This is small but wonderful museum. You are going to see splendid collection of ancient, medieval and american fine art. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photos without flash light. It "must see" place during your visit to Princeton.

Fascistic museum the does a great job of showcasing art from many different time periods without being too overwhelming. Best thing is it's free and doesn't take all day to see everything. Highly recommend and also situated in the middle of the beautiful Princeton campus. Perfect day trip!
Lots to see; especially loved the Roman mosaics in the basement. Lots of ancient/classical sculpture down there too. Beautiful more modern paintings etc. upstairs. You can just walk in, tho signs do suggest a $5/person donation. On weekends you can park in a faculty lot for free!
