City Road Cemetery

It's a great walk and lots of nature amongst the graves. Never too crowded and quite a peaceful place to grab some quiet

I have been visiting this cemetery for all my life. Well over 60 years and it has steadily been getting less maintained. Gravestones have been removed for better maintenance and yes, I know it's easier for grasscutters. Buildings have been left to deterioration. Access for water has been removed in a lot of places. Dog walkers let their beloved pets fowl gravestones because they let them room unleashed. Youths on bikes wander around looking very suspicious. Please could you address some of these issues. I know things are difficult and money is short but we have left you with our most precious family.

Once again staff at Bereavement Services have been extremely helpful. They provide an excellent service.

I have families & friends who have been laid to rest here. Most recently my mum is now there. 😥 I'm impressed with the way the cemetery has grown & the graves around my mum have been lovingly tended to by their relatives. 💕💖
