A beautiful place to visit without charge. If you go by car it can be challenging to find parking but we were surprisingly able to on the weekend. It’s best to go late afternoon while it’s still light outside so you can see better as there are no lights. We went during sunset time but then wished we had been there earlier to walk and see things more clearly. A great scenic place to walk.

Offers a picturesque view of the city on one side and Port on the other. Moreover a small hike into the Marjan Forest is highly recommended as it offers another aspect of the city : greenery and wilderness.

Wow! Stunning views of Split, highly recommend a visit. You can take a small cart up from the old city or you can walk up the stairs and back down the mountain (2-3 hours maybe longer with breaks). Great workout too.

It's a difficult climb to the top but the street at the bottom is really charming. The stairs give you a great view of the city and there is various things to see along the way such as an old church.
