Bluesun Hotel Borak

The bad reviews for this hotel are frankly ridiculous. The hotel is immaculately clean. Yes, the decor is dated particularly in the corridors leading to rooms but it's clean and not in disrepair. The staff are all friendly and helpful, particularly restaurant and bar. We did not experience any 'rudeness' - I think people should consider that there is a difference between being rude and using basic phrases in a language which is not your first! Breakfast options are plentiful - you could literally have a different style of breakfast every day for a week there is that much choice! Dinner also had a great selection, different hot dishes every night, always vegetarian and child friendly options also and they replenish stock all the time to keep everybody happy. Amazingly big selection of dessert! Some nights there are even special local delicacies to try and on one evening during our weeks stay a 'Klapa' vocal group performed during dinner! Bed very comfortable, room exceptionally clean, our 'garden view' was very peaceful. Maid service was great. Pool area very calm and again spotlessly clean. I don't know what people complaining about this place expect for the reasonable price you're paying in a perfect location for the famous Zlatni Rat beach and beautiful Bol! Thank you Bluesun Hotel Borak, me and my partner had a very enjoyable 7 day stay!

Pros Location, friendly staff, clean, entertainment is cringe but so funny, booked a taxi back to the ferry through the hotel. Cons Had to book two rooms as there were 2 adults and 2 children, rooms were next to eachother but no link between rooms, so had to spend nights away from my wife during the entire stay as we didn't want to leave our kids alone. For the standard of hotel the prices seem high. Buffet isn't incredible but what buffet is? Rooms need to be updated. If it wasn't for the rooms not being joined I'd give the hotel an extra star.

A well-organized 3-star hotel. The staff is kind and professional, the food is great for the hotel of this category. An excellent location 7-8 mins from the beach ''Zlatni rat'' for those who do not like to walk the hotel beach is in front of the facility. The town center is a short walk away. The rooms have everything they need. Cons: poor wi-fi
