The Katoch Grand Resort-Best Resort In Manali - Best Hotels In Manali

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the first week of Dec 2020. This hotel was recommended to me by my travel agency. The location of this hotel is 7km from city and is preferable only if you have your own car/transport. The rooms are spacious with beautiful views but without any amenities. Even the glass of the rooms is not cleaned and view is hazy!There is a tea kettle but nothing to make tea with and the same was not provided too. They do give room heaters which are charged at 300/day. No housekeeping and the wifi was just a symbol in your phone! The staff are always smiling and saying 'No sir ' The first day I had asked for a bed tea at 8 and they said that the staff was not up yet and we checked out at 8am on the last day and they could not provide breakfast or even a cup of tea as the staff was not up! It takes minimum few hours to provide any thing you ask for and sometimes they forget it too.... so you have to remind them repeatedly! The food was good but there was no timings, breakfast after 10 and dinner, they used to provide in room after calling them repeatedly! Overall, NOT WORTH IT! Read less

Great Place. Probably due to the bad season this year, it's not maintained very well. Room was great. Staff behavior was extremely good and they were very caring. There is a beautiful river behind the hotel where its possible to walk down and spend time. Room rates are reasonable and affordable.

Really good experience staying there. One of the best hotels in Manali. Great view of snowy peak mountains from windows. Comfortable rooms and very good service. Food was great. In a nutshell, best hotel in manali.💞🙌👍♥️

Awesome resort with all the facilities and the services are soo good 😊especially there food they just nailed it 👌do visit the katoch grand resort 😊and enjoy there services

Nicely built location was also good but i somehow did not like the service part due to Internet connectivity issue i had a very important meeting and they were like sir peeche se nai chalra to kya kar saktey hai, also its little away from the city market and mall road, someone has to walk 6Kms away in either direction to solang valley or manali to reach out to nice resturants or cafe, must visit cafe is 1947 is sitauated in vicinity, food was't that great.
