The Department is committed to a high quality research programme in a broad spectrumnof areas like, Process Modeling and Simulation, Process Control, Reaction Engineering etc. The department is equipped with both state of the art under-graduate laboratories and highly equipped post graduate research Lab. The unique feature of our research Lab is that it hosts several important characterization facilities at one single place and are mostly run by our own students. These facilities allow our faculty and students to tackle complex phenomena requiring thorough understanding and also industrial R&D problems demanding practical approach.
