St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA Holiday

This is a great campground! The sites are a little tight, but the park is peaceful and quiet. Guests and staff were all friendly. I can see this becoming our go-to site in the Tampa area. Don't get discouraged by the street that takes you to the campground, it's full of businesses and looks nothing like an entrance to av recreation area.nnLove the access to the bike/running trail that runs right in front of the park entrance. Loved kayaking as well, didn't see any manatee, but we saw some stingrays and plenty of scenery.

I do like this campground! They have lots to do like rent kayaks, bikes. They have a pretty well stocked store for basics and lots of cabins to rent. Their RV spots are tight in some areas so make sure you ask about that before you book, tell them you want a space with room. We went the weekend before Memorial Day and it was packed solid!! Close to treasure island, only about 15 minute drive:)

This place is great. The staff is super helpful and directed us right to our site. The site was clean level and had all the hookups. The other thing was our site backed right up to mangroves and the lake. The pool and other facilities were clean and well maintained. I highly recommend d this camp ground if your in the Tampa Area!!

This is a Holiday level KOA campground. Sites to fit every camper and individual taste. Full hookups and level packed gravel sites. There are more activities and amenities than you or your kids can believe. Spotless bathrooms and plenty of polite and friendly staff. This is a pleasure to use for overnight or longer

We will definitely stay again when in the St. Petersburg area. This is a large campground, very well maintained, and all of the staff, from the front desk, to the gentleman who directed us to our camp site ,were very pleasant and helpful. There is a 200 mile bike/walking path adjacent to the camp ground. With a 15-20 minute drive you can reach St. Pete's, Treasure Island and John's Pass. Loved this campground!!!
