Niantic I95 Exit 72 CT KOA

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and quick to offer assistance. The grounds are well maintained and in good condition. The hiking trails were especially pretty, even gracing my walk with 3 beautiful does gathered in a quiet clearing. My experience was a good one and I highly recommend giving them a try. If you plan to camp on the weekends, reservations are strongly encouraged.

We went here on short notice because off the gas shortage in SC (we originally had plans to go there). Staff was excellent and very accommodating from the moment you arrive and they bring you to your site, to delivering fire wood or ice. (The store was currently closed due to covid regulations) they have shuttle service for us who travel in a motor home and don't have a tow vehicle. This was extremely convenient so we could check out the town.nnWe meet several seasonal people and enjoyed their friendliness and hospitality. They are working hard to update the place and hopefully they put in a pool and full hook ups (you can only dump grey but they will come by and empty black for you).nnAll in all on short notice we enjoyed our little vacation.

Staff is extremly RUDE. Thinking they are the god controlling the universe. Asking me to drive 5mph on a sloped rock hill. When I am only driving 8mphuff1f Slower than that my car would go backwards.inexperienced with life hire people that are realistic not idealistic

Horrible experience. We were supposed to camp with friends and unfortunately they were turned away due to rules of the koa related to their dog. When we checked in, process went smoothly and we were assigned a camp site. my husband calmly inquired about their pet policy. Although our pet was compliant with their policy the rude office staff got very defensive when having to defend the policy and decided they were going to turn us away. Poor customer service turned an unfortunate situation with our friends into a horrible experience for us despite following their policies. The reviews referencing rude staff are 100% accurate and this Koa should never be recommended due to staff unwillingness to work with customers to find a solution to a problem

Very quiet, at least this visit being late in the season. Site was large and with pets, ideal. Enjoyed walking around the grounds. Staff were friendly. Planned events, coin search was entertaining and fun watching the children searching. Fall was truly present throughout the grounds; could have been tidier. Looking forward to visit again.
