The campground is laid out really well and we enjoyed our large premium spot (and the view!). All of the spots are gravel and there are small hedges between them, which was nice. There are very few trees for shade though. The bathrooms were nice and clean, as were the showers. It was extremely windy during our stay. So much so that we ended up leaving a day early. Wind in a pop-up is no fun!nnThe area around the campground is not that nice. Lots of run down homes, empty lots. The drive into Palm Springs (about 25 minutes) takes you to a much nicer area. The downtown area is neat to walk around and has good restaurants.nnJoshua Tree National Park is about 45min-1 hour away, but worth the drive. Great hiking!nnOverall, we enjoyed our stay, but the wind will most likely keep us from visiting in the future!

Pulled up to check in ready to enjoy the hot tubs that had been mentioned in numerous reviews and on the website....told at check in that they are closed....no reason given.nGreat views for sunrise/sunset.nGreat playground for the kiddos, mini golf, and pickle ball.nWood fires are not allowed, so renting out propane fire pits is a solid money maker for them.nOverall a decent campground.

We came here for a family spring break 3 night visit. Kids ages 9 and 5. Kids had a great time with the mini golf, pickel ball and the pool. There is also a game room with a selection of games and puzzles. The billiard room has a pool table and air hockey. Both cost money to play. The billiard table only had 13 balls so you couldn't really play a nine ball game. Also the tips of the cue sticks were not great. Kids didn't notice so they had a nice time trying it out. We had camp site 90 which has a row of trees to the back to take some heat away in the afternoon. You do get a lot of morning sun and when the temp gets to in the 80s and 90s it can feel hot quickly. Had some red ants around the site. Notified staff and they took care of them. We look forward to a return trip. Also note there are no wood or charcoal fires allowed. Propane are OK and they have units to rent for your stay. Also had some cool bike units you could rent, but we didn't so can't comment specifically about that.

Very nice campground! This is a great place to come get away from it all. Pool was heated, it must of been 90 degrees at least, and outside temp was in high 70s, was really clean also. The little cafe is right by the pool. You can camp with your RV, rent one of their cabins or you can even pitch your tent here

Great place to hang out for a day between other locations. Keep in mind that it's all gravel and rock. Not tent friendly. The hot spring pool was a major hit with the kids and the free mini golf was a close second. Amenities were clean and easy to find. Would stay here again on the way through the state/desert.
