Jai Jagannath Ji 🏵️💮🌷🌻🌸🌹🌺🌼🙏🙏🙏 I am blessed to visit this temple. It's a replica of Shri Jagannath Ji of Puri. The Puri temple is famous for its annual Ratha yatra, or chariot festival, in which the three principal deities are pulled on huge and elaborately decorated temple cars. Unlike the stone and metal icons found in most Hindu temples, the image of Jagannath is made of wood and is ceremoniously replaced every twelve or nineteen years by an exact replica. Puri is one of the Char Dham. This temple is located very near to Ajronda metro station with a very high Jagannath flag which is visible from the mathura road. The architecture is of Kalinga style which has its resemblance of a cross between high ceiling cone and southern style little idols along all linings. I also happen to meet mandir Sevadaar with whom I discussed about Jagannath Puri and how the main temple was made in 10th century with mud and ash & still standing strong. There was no cement then but the technology of those times was so strong. And that the dhwaj pataka ( flag ) moves against the flow of air.
