Kanpur has been declared as a Smart City under the Smart City Mission.Whose office is located on the third floor of the municipal corporation.Under this, emphasis is laid on providing the basic facilities to the citizens as well as building future infrastructure.Smart cities are known for their functions in infrastructure, communication, sanitation, transport and better connectivity in rapidly expanding cities.Using modern computer data analysis of artificial intelligence, surveillance systems including CCTVs are being developed to provide citizens with disaster, special medical and law and order maintenance.Using modern computer data analysis of artificial intelligence, surveillance systems including CCTVs are being developed to provide citizens with disaster, special medical and law and order maintenance.

Cant see any changes as of now.. There are only words but no action.. The roads are in bad shape.. there is encroachment all over.. the roads are dug up for waterpipeline.. there is no airport, no metro.. the wires hang badly everywhre.. underground work going for months but no progressnthey really need to pull up their socks
