When the team at Alakananda asked me to provide a testimonial and asked me why I chose to invest in Alakananda and what made me choose this over other options, I told them it was none of the above and was more of a “Love at first sight” – an impulse buy as I was impressed with the planning and design of the campus.nBeing a builder myself, I can understand the amount of work, planning and vision that has gone into creating this unique project in South India.nMy first visit to the property was AFTER I had finished paying the token advance and the very first impressions as we entered were very positive and made me feel that my “Love at first sight” was indeed true love and that I had made the right decision to purchase a plot here.nInstead of buying just 1 plot, after the visit, I decided to buy a 2nd one for my daughter who is into Wildlife / Ecology Conservation and together, we plan to build an eco-friendly holiday homes to spend our weekends away from the chaotic city life at Hyderabad!nThe setbacks from the river and the height of the property from water levels make this a very safe investment.nIt is far enough from the highway to give you a serene ambiance, devoid of any disturbance and yet close enough to make it easy to reach.nMy experience dealing with the builder also has been very pleasant and since it’s a family-owned group, working with them felt more comfortable than a traditional builder.nTo get a property like this again will be very difficult & almost impossible at this scale – and the fact that this is an approved layout and not just farmlands makes it even more rare and special.nIn fact I was looking for a big property with waterfront for a friend of mine in the US for investment but could not locate one for him and that is what makes Alakananda a truly one-of-its-kind!nAnd with the promoter relocating all the way from Bangalore to settle down in this very community, it will be of great advantage as there will be close monitoring and constant development.
After having seen a couple of riverfront projects in North India at Hardiwar and Rishikesh, I started looking for something similar in South India…nnI then got to know about Alakananda from a mailer and this had a couple of real photos of the site and pictorial master plan of the vision of the promoters, which really impressed me at first glance.nnBut even though I was impressed by the picturesque location, I was hesitant whether it would take-off and be completed on time due to the uncertainty surrounding Amaravati and Andhra Pradesh as this project falls in AP.nnA couple of months later, when a friend of mine posted live pictures of the same project in our school WhatsApp group – I later learnt that he had already invested in multiple plots here and that made me feel like I am missing out on something truly potential – I immediately decided that I should own a plot and went ahead and invested WITHOUT EVEN VISITING THE LOCATION!nnThis is also when I realized that this project, though technically inside AP, has nothing to do with Amaravati or the AP situation – as people are coming to this place due to its scenic beauty and to own a riverfront property and NOT because it is close to Amaravati etc.nnCouple of months after investing, I visited Alakananda and as I reached the site, the first thing that stuck me was its scenic beauty, combined with the serenity and calmness of the place.nnApart from the unique waterfront, the surrounding hills, vast forest in front, breathtaking sunrise and sunsets all add to the grandeur of the place.nnThough initially skeptical, I am now very happy to have chosen this place and would strongly recommend this :nnas a perfect weekend break away from the polluted city life given its easy reach from both Hyderabad and Vijayawada and also for those who are seriously thinking of spending retired life in a serene setting, close to nature.nI am sure that even for those who are looking for appreciation, this will be a good long-term investment for capital growth.
You might have money to invest, but you won’t find a place like Alakananda – I found the true meaning of peace and happiness just being at this place!nnHappened to randomly come across this project as one of my close friends wanted to go on a long drive one day to this project to evaluate this for one of his Singapore-based friends who wanted to invest and asked me to join along for the drive casually.nnHence Alakananda was a completely random and unexpected discovery and to my own surprise, I ended up making an immediate decision to make this purchase – without even a second thought…nnAnd the fact that I am not even from this part of India (belong to Pune, Maharashtra) and yet decided to invest on the spot without even knowing the area and its surroundings (I visited this region for the very 1st time in my life!) is what amazes me even today – even after having bought a plot!nnWe spend a lot of money to be on vacation, just to be in nature and peace. But being an owner of part of nature is massively exciting and that is what I got at Alakananda.nnThe nature and beauty the place offers at such a reasonable price is something you won’t find anywhere else.nnWe visited this place on a Sunday, and the first look at the place, the river bed around, all greenery soothing your eyes, was enough to trigger the feeling of “have it” immediately.nnJust being in such an environment where greenery will last for your lifetime, and having a share of the river next to you, is the ideal place to have.nnWe can see the passion for the project in the eyes of Mr.Chowdary & the entire Alakananda team and they are playing a fabulous role in adding huge value to the customers.nnThey even organised a night stay for me and my friends at their clubhouse with all amenities, food arrangement.nnAnd let me tell you – the experience of waking up at 5AM and a walk beside the water is something which I cannot put in words, “It’s wow, you should just experience it”.nnI feel proud to have this place and thanks to the Alakananda team for setting up such a project.nnWithin a few weeks of my purchase, I have already visited the place on multiple occasions and every time we visit it’s an amazing feeling to be a part of it!
I met Divyendhu at a cultural fest in the US and that is how I got to know about G&C and Alakananda - their flagship project and a unique gated community on the riverfront.nnThough I am a native of Vizag and I am familiar with ocean-front properties, I was so impressed with the river frontage & project details, that I booked it without even visiting the project as I have never seen such a riverfront in India!nnWhile you come across several real estate brokers & projects offering routine plots, Alakananda definitely strikes as a special one, not just because of the wonderful river frontage but also due to the several facilities that are offered in their 310 acres.nnDuring a short trip to India in 2019, Divyendhu took me on a site visit and I was happy to see that the photos you see on the website perfectly match with what is happening on ground / the reality at site.nIt offers a perfect break away from the hustle and bustle of city life but is also not too far away, and is easy to reach from both Vijayawada and Hyderabad...nnThanks to the G&C team for making the booking process a piece of cake and their service doesn’t stop at booking itself, as I keep getting regular updates on the plot, which also comes with ideas on how I can utilise the plot (holiday homes/weekend stay).nnI am happy to recommend this to anyone looking for a unique, refreshing weekend & holiday home or even as a final retirement destination and also as a value-for-money investment (instead of investing in saturated and overpriced cities).
