Kharghuli Sanatan Dharma Mandir represents a landmark and a popular place of Kharghuli area. It came into being in 1978. The temple hosts the yearly Durga Puja which is attended by people from not only the entire Kharghuli area but from other parts of Guwahati as well.nnIn addition, it is a preferred place for Marriages and other functions of the local residents of Kharghuli. The place has a large hall on the first floor with an integrated kitchen space. The committee provides chairs, tables & utensils and a host of other facilities. The ground floor can be used as a reception place and the area outside as an extension to it or for car parking. The local tent houses fulfill the other requirements.nnFor bookings and queries one may contact the secretary of the Mandir Committee.
