Place is for all pooja, pind daan, and different astrological pooja. As it is very near to Sabarmati river. However the place is very far near to airport. But Yes ofcourse be safe from all pandas (pundit). Generally when people do pooja the pandits have to do proper sankalp and not suppose to eat anything however now in india most of them will eat gutka pan etc and do Pooja's. I urge if you planned to do any pooja there, ask pandit to make sure he will do sankalp first and not to have any gutka etc.
