Credit to Pukhrambam Kunjo Singh, retired Principal, Kakching Paji Leikai who founded it. Now, His dream comes true after 50 years. In India, there are only four universities (only music classes including vocal) for learning Classical Hindustani Sangeet (Music) which offer post graduate degree and PHD as well as more. This is one among them. People come to learn music from far places. Main Faculties: vocal, guitar, tabala, violin, sitar, flute etc.
