Wonderful place to visit. This place actually very much popular for the Temple of Lord Siva the god of Destruction. There is a huge Siva Linga at the top of the hill, you have to get to top of the hill by stairs and believe me it will take time for reaching there.The stairs can create a little bit problem for Fat people but as this is a really really old Holy Temple and it's Lord Shiva who is the most hardest god to impress.

Place is good but , available facilities is not enough it required more infrastructure development, better connection ,etc.

Gupteswar cave temple, is surrounded by a dense forest, of Sal trees and flanked by the kolab river. The shrine is called gupteswar, which means, the hidden God. It is, so named because, it was lying hidden, in the cave for a very long period. According to some, the Lingam, was first discovered by Sri Rama, when, was roaming in the dandakaranya forest, with wife Sita and brothers Lakshman. Among the temples, cave temple, Shiva Lingam, I visited, here, I was attracted, seeing the gigantic Siva Linga, which, is said to be increasing, in size. It is about 2 metre high and more than 1 metre in diameter. One can reach there, for darshan, by climbing, about, more than 200 steps, This pilgrimage site, is situated about 80 kilometres from Koraput, in the Indian State of Odisha. This place, is well connected by train and road route.
