Also known as Bharat Upavan, the park has lush lawns, trees and shrubs. The park is decorated with bronze sculptures of contributors to India's culture and history. These statues include children, women, national celebrities, freedom fighters and warriors of India, including notable figures like Mahatma Gandhi.

Akshardham An amazing beautiful peaceful temple. Must visit place if you are in New Delhi. Metro station also there and is just 100 meter apart. Akshardham is really beautiful the main temple is really beautifully crafted. The outer architecture is beautiful and also the inner marbel architecture was more than beautiful. The roof of the main temple is just amazing. The best and the most beautiful part is the main temple where the colors are too good. Note :- You can not take your phone 📱, camera 📷, so you have to stand in the queue to summit them in the cloak room. Secure cloak room 5/5. After the cloak room there is a security check which will be done in a minute you just have to remove your wallet and belt and that's it they will check you and let you pass. Strong security check. Best place to visit.

Akshardham' means the divine abode of God. It is hailed as an eternal place of devotion, purity and peace. Swaminarayan Akshardham at New Delhi is a Mandir – an abode of God, a Hindu house of worship, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony. Timeless Hindu spiritual messages, vibrant devotional traditions and ancient architecture all are echoed in its art and architecture.

Beautiful place. Though not a historical place , it's made way to Guinness record. It's spreads across acres of land and is so well maintained. Slippers aren't allowed. The marble beauty of this place stuns everyone. They have fountain shows too and beautiful gardens. The painting and the garbagriha or the place where the diety is located would just hypnotise you as it's such a wonderful piece of art and architecture. Afternoons can be a problem as one needs to walk bare foot. Alot of distance needs to be covered by walk. It's definitely not in the centre of the city. But yet , it's worth the travel.

Well this is the India's second largest temple, & asia's third largest temple around the world. Apart from this basic general knowledge, the good thing is entry is free but only for the "darshan" When it comes to shows, you have to pay for that, where the light/fountain show is most recommended if you are not opting for full package show ticket. Phone/Camera/Bags are not allowed inside temple, so make sure you keep in your car or either you can keep them in locker room which is also free to access. Keep in mind, if you are going in rush hour then put our items/goods in your car/own space which will save your time in standing in queue. Akshardham Temple or Swaminarayan Akshardham Complex is a prestigious fascination in Delhi and it gloats its profound and social exercises spreading over the city. The mind boggling invites you to comprehend and break down the conventional Hindu and Indian culture, deep sense of being and design. Being a standout amongst the most went by vacation spots in Delhi, the sanctuary has magnificence and dynamic quality, amazing by whatever else. The banks of the excellent Yamuna River in eastern Delhi offer space to the complex and the development was by the Vastu Shastra and Pancharatra Shastra.
