This is the local post office in Sasan Gir. The location is in the lane right opposite the Sinh Sadan. The unique aspect about this post office is that if and when you send a letter or a postcard from this post office, the India Post employees will not use their standard round rubber stamp noting the date to cancel the postage stamps. There will be a special lion image rubber stamp that they will use to cancel the postage stamps used on the letter or postcard! Note that it is closed on Sundays. So you may want to purchase stamps prior to your visit to Gir if you are going to visit Gir on a Sunday.
