This is another oldest temple at vadakkanthara village, which is believed to be older than the village itself. Located very close to sastha temple and famous thripuraikkal temple. The presiding deity is lord shiva...

Situated in Vadakkanthara Agraharam.nPeaceful and divine atmosphere.nPeople from around the area visit this temple mostly.nThe temple will be opened from early morning and then from after noon 5.nParking can be done near the premises itself.

Located in Vadakkanthara Village, the temple with presiding diety Lord Shiva is believed to be older than the village itself .Historical evidence indicates that the idol was installed by The Great Sage Rishyashringar.The lord Shiva here is worshipped as Lord Thiruvenkattappan. Various festivs are celebrated like Thiruvathira, Shivrathri, vaikkathashtami ,Navrathri ,etc in a grand manner...this year (2019) it has been decided to perform Ashtabhandha Mahakumbhabhishekam on 10th April (Wednesday)..Join us and be a part!! Cheers!nPS: Lord Sastha Temple is Jus two or three steps ahead..
