The first SATRA of Assam established in 13th century by Chutia King. A must visit place for the peoples who love to know about ancient worship style of pure Assamese people. A SATRA established before the era of Great Sankardeva. Originally established at Sadiya ( capital of Chutia King) but due to natural calamities and frequent attacks of outsiders it was shifted and permanently set up in North Lakhimpur. Please visit to enlighten your knowledge about ancient history.
