Amazing place to visit, it's tallest Ganesh Idol we can see at the time of Ganesh Chavti. It's also one of the tallest idol in India.

Jai sri ganesh khairatabad ganes ustav is one of biggest Ganesh festival organization comity they do biggest Ganesh statue for festival this Ganesh most popular in Hyderabad people come from all over Hyderabad in 10 days festival every day thousands of visitors come here ofter 10 day Ganesh visarjan held for seing Ganesh visarjan very big crowd in tank band or Hussain Sagar this statue is more than 60 feets upto 80 feets

Has been the centre stage of Ganesh pandals in Hyderabad for over 60 years. In 2020 due to Covid restrictions, the idol is smaller and the crowd also has been less than usual. Good safety considerations taken with the devotees passing through disinfecting door spray and compulsory mask wearing imposed.

On the 11th day the idol is immersed in Hussain Sagar lake.[3]nnThe Khairatabad Ganesh laddu in 2015 was a massive 6000 kg in weight. This laddu as usual was prepared at Tapeswaram, by vendor Mr. Malli Babu who has been in the business for the past few years. Starting in 2018. the Ganesh Utsava Committee agreed to switch from plaster of Paris to an eco-friendly clay idol.[5][6]nnThe avatar of 2019 Khairtabad Ganesha is Sri Dwadashaditya Maha Ganapathi. Idol sculptor is Rajendran. Utsava committee chairman - Sudarshan. The face of the idol looked like the Sun, with 12 heads, 24 hands, adorned with 12 serpents and riding a chariot with seven horses. On the right side idols of Sri Maha Vishnu and Ekadasha Devi were arranged in a separate small mantap. On the left side, idols of Goddess Durga along with idols of Vishnu, Eshwara and Brahma are installed.[7]
