You will like this place only if you are an explorer. Or you will be disoppointed as it is bit far from the city centre Bageshwar and taxi will charge around 700 indian rupee and It is just a cave but with a rich history and importance. Mahadev and parvati stayed here for a while. And it is said by the locals that this cave is directly connected to kailash mansarover.

Approx 5-6 km from bageswar town and 140 km from Nainital in uttarakhand, Gauri Udiyar is a place of natural beauty , spiritual peace and divine spirit !nIt has a very large natural cave called 'Gauri Maa Temple'.nAll the craft and the cave itself is naturally created by dev shilpi Vishwakrama.nAs per an old saying , during Shiva-Parvati marriage all goddess were stay there for rest in between.nMany saints and yogis from India and abroad have arrived and stay here for meditation for years.nThis is such a divine place to experience nature's beauty and divine spirit .nA must place to visit in Bageshwar !nnGo with ur family and friends. Park ur vehicle at road side. Walk through village route approx 500 mtr. and explore this natural cave and small waterfall aside.
