A beautiful place. The rooms have the vibe of the traditional houses of the island, but are comfortable at the same time :-) Mr. Monjit is super friendly and helpful. Fully recommended! And don't forget to go cycling to reach the different corners of the island.

Stayed in Majuli for 6 days. The room is cozy and comfortable. The owner, Mr. Monjit is very friendly and helpful. He knows the island inside out and can guide you really well. The food was great. No hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone looking to relax and explore the countryside.

Risong family guest house is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The place offers traditional bamboo cottages that are cozy and comfortable and one should never miss tribal food from Risong family kitchen. The service is amazing and Monjit will provide every help to the guests. Overall a must stay at Majuli!!!!

One of the best places I have stayed in all of my travels. Monjeet is one of the most friendliest host one can find anywhere. He is more than happy to take you around and share the history of the Island and the Missing tribe if you have the time. A home away from homeud83dude42

Wonderful experience with traditional bamboo hut. Room is mixed with bamboo, woods and mud and cowdang , bathroom is totally modern. host is very friendly .
