Rajkot Kalavad Road Sub Post Office

It is a Kalawad Road Sub Post Office under India Post, under Ministry of Posts. It existed here for more then five decades. Good communicative and supportive staff but highly lack of latest computers, devices lack of proper maintenance of computer hardware, printers, and network hardware software causes glitches and faults in system frequently. Due to this, the customers and staff both face harsh consequences very often. Stamp papers and postal orders are never available on demand. There has been often shortage of cash since July 2014, which make customers unnecessarily wait and hence, waste valuable time of public and service provider staff. The posts now get outward twice a day since 2005 A. D., earlier it was made once a day at 10:00 A. M. between 2000 and 2005, now since 2005, on 9:30 A. M. and 4:00 P. M., which, untill 2000, was 10:30 A. M. and 3:30 P. M. . Also due to widening of Gaurav Path, on Kalawad Road, the porch space for queues has been squeezed and visiting customers have to queue outside the post office premises. Overall, an average place, owned by reknown Kotecha Builders and given on rent to Central Government Of Union of India. Nowadays shifted to university road, with a name raiya road post office strangely. All political game to squeez money out of people's pockets by curse on earth bjp & rss.

The office has moved to new and better location nearby. 'Meghdoot', university road, near infinity restaurant.
