Golden Spike RV Park

Golden Spike RV Park is the best park I’ve ever stayed in. If I could I would give them more than 5 stars. I’ve only been living in my RV for about 6 months but I’ve traveled in various RVs for many years. All of the sites are pull through. This is a huge plus for me because I have a little rig and generally I am relegated to the short back in site. The park is pretty; groomed trees and grass. There is a nice pick nick table at every site. The bathroom, at least for the women, is the crown jewel. Yes it is clean but many are clean, it is the design that impressed me. It is wheel chair accessible although not ADA compliant. If you are wheelchair bound and in an RV like my cousin was for about 6 years, you will appreciate it anyway. Getting in is no problem. One of the showers is in a huge room with a sink and commode. There is a built in seat in the shower. No grab bars in the shower and no hose for the water but my cousin says if you can get into it you can manage everything else and there is a grab bar by the commode. The other shower is accessible too, but smaller. They sell propane on site and there is a reasonably priced gas station next door with easy access pumps, long pull through lanes. It is just so convenient. They are located right off the freeway but far enough that it was surprisingly quiet. Owner and staff are friendly and your dog is welcome as long as you keep it on a leash. After only 6 months of living in my coach I find I am always learning and I have Mary to thank for a very valuable lesson. I was late and forgot something; reason but no excuse for speeding in the park. She pointed out that there are kids in the park. Parks are different from neighborhoods because everyone crowded together. I will never again forget to go the speed limit in any park. Who knows what tragedy she may have saved me from? I’ll definitely be coming back here on my way north every year.

Great RV Park! Very clean & well maintained. Pulled into the park at 6:00 PM on a Saturday with transmission trouble on my tow vehicle. There were no spaces available, but the owners moved their own RV so I would have a place to stay until the Ford garage opened on Monday. The park owners were very kind to me and offered me rides across town to the repair shop, checking in with me to see how the repairs were going. When I went to pay for my stay four days later, they refused to take any money from me out of sympathy for the vehicle repair expenses I had incurred. Very big hearted and kind people. I will definitely stay with them again next time I am in the Brigham City area.

I stayed here about two months ago. I have just retired from the Army after twenty years of service. The owners and workers at the Golden Spike went above and beyond customer service expectations and took care of my family and I when I needed it the most! Clean facilities, excellent location, and the most friendly atmosphere! Please choose this RV park. They have better facilities and better prices than their competitors in the area including the KOA!
