Nice location on beach and Portage Canal with level concrete sites, each with a sitting area behind site on the river. Clean, well maintained. Managers, Jim and Pam, are friendly, efficient and great hosts. Nice park, walking to town along canal. WiFi good, ATT cell good. All hookups work as designed.

There are only 25 lots but the location of the park and each lot is beautiful, right on the channel with the city of Hancock across the water. Easy mile walk to Roy's and downtown. Beautifully maintained walk along the waterway and marina. Loaded with mining history. Childrens Shutes and Ladders park feature right next door. 12 - 15 hiking waterfalls within an hour away, one of the best, Hungarian Falls (series of 3 each with lower cascades only 8 miles away!)

It is a very nice to spend time in Houghton. Pre-planning is nessasary. Some sites are occupied for the season by the same tourists yearly.
