Pretty great weekend stay here! My fiance and I checked in for a cottage rental, and were impressed. It was very clean and already had the heater running when we arrived, which was a pleasant surprise after escaping the cold! There's a lot of amenities close by to this park (fun activities, grocery stores, gas, etc... Zephyr Cove is about 20min away) , and even right as you exit the park, there's a restaurant to get pizza at! As from what I saw campsite wise, sites seem to be somewhat on top of each other. It was nice and peaceful throughout our stay, which was nice. When we left, it was pretty confusing finding the drop box for tags and such, as I luckily ended up dropping it in the right spot (Mail slot on side of building). Therefore, a suggestion for the park is putting some signage up near this area for guest convenience. Otherwise, all positive here!

We were only there for 1 night so we didn't run in to any issues or problems. The campground is massive, possibly 500 sites!! I did not know Lake Tahoe was so busy during the late May almost summer time of the year. If you have kids it looks like a great place to stay as they seem to have plenty to keep them busy.nnThe only complaints are that the site are not clear, so you don't know which way to point your RV. Also the souvenirs at the office were a bit pricey and lacked choices.

we had a great experience here over labor day weekend. The campground was FULL. we get there late due to flight being delayed and having to drive. Once we got there our neighbors were nice enough to help us back up the trailer since it was really dark.nSite was very clean, bathrooms were clean. The only hick up was: they tried to show a movie one of the night and it was just not working which was kind of disappointing.nnSite is very close to main roads, lake and plenty of food options.

I highly recommend Tahoe Valley Campground for a family friendly peaceful experience! Staff was amazing, cabins are well stocked and clean. If you are looking for a place to bond with your family and connect with nature this site is perfect for you!!
