Fire Up Chips! As an alumni, Central Michigan University sets itself apart from other university because when you are here, you are family. You will feel as if you go there yourself by the great staff and faculty they have. They do focus on the student rather than number. The campus is beautiful all throughout the year, autumn being my favorite as the trees change their colors. Walking throughout the campus, you will feel safe as they have Safe Rides program ready to transport students and their guests throughout the campus if they feel unsafe. The recent added structures blend the future of the campus while the old buildings pay homage to the past. Great feeling when walking around seeing the history of the campus and what each department/college have to present. The best thing about Mount Pleasant/Central Michigan University... Is the family feel.

Great University. Attended for both my undergrad and grad programs. Very welcoming community tucked in downtown Mt pleasant. Lots of close bars and activities to do. Historical buildings and great culture. The student activity center allows students to work out for free, swim, play sports, and a four story library. The campus is walkable and like a park. Halls are conveniently close, the stadium is top notch. Would recommend to everyone. You won't go wrong here.

I love this place. I just transferred here and it is the best choice I've ever made. I commute every day to campus. It is not a bad drive and I can always find parking. I get there 10 minutes early just to make sure and I get a spot in a couple minutes. The teachers are great and will help you on anything. The library is a great place to do some study if you live off of campus.

Central was a great environment for fun and education. A lot of friends, the Social Work Program was great taught me how to do the right responses to clients and to help our children to become more. I love the tennis courts and the trip to Mexico and Central American. I loved the bars downtown especially the one where the peanuts go on the floor. I enjoy working at Listening Ear and sharing music with friends. How great the Football Team was when I was there and now how great is the team still playing. Go CMU.
