Foxwoods Resort Casino

Hi love the views from grand Pequot hotel. There newly renovated rainmaker casino is beautiful and bright. Now offering a non smoking casino area. The service is fantastic at certain hotels and lacks in others. Foxwoods should be offering reduced rate based on all the new casinos in Mass. I have noticed they are running a special in Sept for low money hotel rooms. They offer first rate entertainment venues. All in all this is a good value for the money. Tip...there are refrigerators in all rooms..bring your own soft drinks and munchies...they charge $4.00 for one out of machines.

NO SMOKING IN THE CASINO AREAS! You should have smoking and non smoking areas in specific game spaces. I enjoy cigars, sitting and playing machines and smoking a cigar, is so relaxing, now I can’t. Do you know how long it takes to smoke a cigar...anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours. You know how much money you can put in a machine in that span of time...plenty. People complain about wearing masks, and this is to protect you from getting or spreading COVID-19. And you equate that with “your rights,” how about smokers rights!? We have none! Every time I turn around, smoking is becoming prohibited. And I’m a conscientious cigar smoker. I try to give people their space, but non smokers want it ALL! I absolutely refuse to put money in a machine or at a table if I can’t exercise my rights to enjoy a good cigar. This really bites!

Big very big. If you like more commercial type casino similar style other casinos then foxwoods is for you. I personally just like Mohegan Sun much better. Darker more tribal themed and for us its more intimate. Plus like the shops and gaming floors much better too. But prepare to loose at both casinos!

It's a larger place than it appears and it's big as you pull in. There are several gaming areas and COVID precautions are in place. There are security officers everywhere. A good number of food choices and plenty of stores in the mall to shop at. The gym and pool are currently closed. The rooms are very comfortable and you can see they've been cleaned. Some of the signage could be a little better but overall a good 2-3 day getaway.

Great time , made lots of $. Haven't been here since February but so glad to come back. They r taking lots of precautions and keeping 6ft distance of each other. Only every other machine open for play. Service was great. Our server was Diane she was right on top of things. Check on us each time she brought out drinks for others. Always remember d what we drank. This is exceptional service and then some. Going for a snack then Going back to room now for a bit then returning later. It was not very busy on casino floor.
