Well I'm student of chemistry department from this college..17sh batch..nPrincipal- Nurshad AlinI studied for 3 yrs and I know very well about our College.. honestly speaking, college is very good and profesor also but Clark and stuff of this college is very very bad..they behave with students like animals of zoo..they don't imagine us as student..if u are a student of this college then u have to struggle for ur own document , which u can get easily if u read in another college..this is my experience ,after completing my graduation I need my provisional certificate for getting admission further and this provisional certificate is given by college itself..but when I went to them they haras me alot ..and lastly I went to my university located in burdwan and collected my certificate..thats why I gave it 2star..and that 2star for my great professor..

Bolpur College was established in 1950 as an institution of higher learning by the generosity of a few large-hearted education-loving men of the locality. According to the West Bengal District Gazetteers: Birbhum (1975) ‘Bolpur College was established in the year 1950 under a scheme drawn up by the Education Department of the Government of West Bengal to provide employment opportunities to college teachers who had immigrated from East Pakistan as refugees as also to provide the evacuee students with opportunities to continue their studies .
