I like this site but it's like being in an apartment. I have a 4 star site. But everyone is so close together its like having a picnic in central park. People are friendly, great atmosphere and i have no complaints. ud83dude00
Great place to set up camp if your looking for a friendly environment. Lots to do near by lots to do in the camp ground if I had to recommend any where to stay the east Kansas City Koa would be the place I recommend anyone. The staff is always friendly and lots of improvements have been made.
Easy access in and out. The pads are gravel with little grass inbetween slots. The electric hook up is lit but pulling in at night you will probably need a flashlight and a partner to make sure you clear trees.nYou will need to level here as the slots can be fairly uneven.nnThere are pads which include everything from tent camping to full pull thru for 40+ with a tow behind. Please note at the time of this review they are renovating the tent camping area and it looks like it will be nice.nnThis is an excellent campground for kiddos.nThey will LOVE the Jump Pad, even as an adult I have to admit this thing is cool. Think 4 trampolines combined into one huge jump area. They have horseshoes, mini golf, a dog walking area and much more. Lots of fun for family activities.
Every amenity you could need, clean, quiet, beautiful setting. We arrived late and there was a map waiting for us with all of our questions answered. I wish we had longer than one night to stay and explore!
This was our first time camping in an RV. The owners were friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the playground and mini golf (both which needed a few repairs, but it was nice that mini golf was included in the price of the stay). The park was about half full in early March. The road noise was loud as it is close to 70 hwy, but it only bothered me as a light sleeper, not the rest of my family. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
