Great place to stay when exploring the area. Convenient to Mac City, The Bridge, and the U.P. Minutes from fudge in town.nnMid-May 2021 the pool wasn't open, yet, but they started working in it. Friendly, helpful staff. Handling COVID-19 protocols well. Good wifi, of what we used it (doing a little e-detox, but not cold turkey).nnWe had the full hookups for our trailer and everything worked well.

This campground is awesome!!! We have been lucky and blessed to be able to get a cabin and they are beautiful! The restrooms are clean, the pool is amazing, and the little store holds many treasures! The staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming. There is a playground, a trail to the city, a dog run, and many tourist attractions close by... Beautiful!!! Headlands dark sky park, McGulpin Point Light, Mackinaw City, the Mighty Mac, etc... etc...

Very nice campground that seems like it is getting better every day! Ladderball, gaga ball pit, bags, swingset, nicely wooded sites!

Last minute fall couples getaway. If there were peak fall trees to be seen in the area this past week...KOA Mackinaw City had the best by far!! Great stay with our pups and another couple in a camping cabin. Plenty of space indoors, roomy patio with a swing, fire pit & bbq, plus bonus brand new shower/toilet/sink. Their kind and extremely attentive staff from booking to checkout - will keep us coming back!! Perks are also the 1mile hiking trail to downtown, 1/4ml from delicious brewery, brief drive west to the beach with easy water access and parking and to the Dark Skies Park.

Very small and dingy campground. Not kid friendly. Extremely small lots. Fire pit from the lot next to ours was right next to our trailer! We were fearful our trailer would be damaged by sparks on a windy night. It’s an okay place to stay if you’re just passing through for the night but not great for longer than that.
