Love State Fair! But also a nice place for the various events held in the buildings throughout the year. The only downside is they charge $6 to park for events. You could always park in the park and ride lot if you don't mind walking.

Went to the car & truck show. It's the best place to go if you are thinking of buying a new car. You can look at them without being hassled.

Attended the car show and enjoyed what was offered. Not all makers were represented and Ford was definitely the main focus, but some of the classic cars were a joy to behold. Tickets: $12 and parking was $6

It was lacking local dealership participation. However, I enjoyed the Manufacturer Fords their look and feel was excellent. I will be considering a Supper Duty truck. I like the diesel with its high horse and torce out puts. The gas powered Supper Duty is another option. When find a dealership that I like I'll will purchase one or the other soon. I'll looking forward to Chicago's auto show they have a better variety. -keh-

We viewed the Dinosaurs exhibit. Our grandkids liked it and had a nice audio presentation to go along with the continents they were seperated into. Quite interesting! Would have been better viewed at night, IMHO.
