Many will not agree but GPO is a quintessential legacy of the Raj when everything used to move slowly just like the whirring old fan overhead meant for the sweating clerks underneath. No one could think of AC in those days. But then very recently things have started getting better in its funky India Post avatar.

Very good head office General Post Office staff are cooperative passport facilities have been done here from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m you can have all sorts of Postal facilities here accept cash which is up to 4 P.M

Head post office of Allahabad where all the facilities of the post office are available.nThough it is also like other government departments where the work load is too much and do not have supportable infrastructure.nPassport seva kendra is also in this capmus.
