Amazing Jadavpur Supermarket. Plethora of green leafy vegetables. The young man who sells them also very kind, jovial and with good sense of humour. He often does charity or provides discount to poor people.

Many options to buy things as far as number of stores are concerned. I little bit pricy compared to other local markets in the vicinity such as the market beside Jadavpur railway station or santoshpur & baghajatin. Don't expect to find uncommon ingredients used for continental or vegan dishes though. Cleanliness is a major issue in this place. Very messy and stinky (all local markets are for that matter ud83dude0b).

Everything is available. Vegetables & fish are good but costly. Avoid buying mutton as it may not be of consistent quality. Street food around this market is good. The coffee house above the market is worth hang out, try chicken stew at this place.

When you go there you will understand why it is called a supermarket.

This market is situated near 8b bus stand. Each and every kind of items are available here...from meat to grocery..bhusimal items.. stationary items..only price is higher than average market price.. otherwise this one organised market and availability of items are good.
