Badhangarhi Temple is a famous temple located in Gwaldam in Chamoli district, which is about 8-9 km away from Gwaldam. This temple is situated at an altitude of about 2260 meters from the sea level. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, also known as Dakshineshwar Kali.nDevotees and visitors can cover the first 4 kms on road upto a place known as Taal while the rest 4 kms requires one to travel by foot. From Taal one treks uphill to Binatoli. The Badhangarhi temple along with temples of Goddess Bhagwati and Dakshin Kali are located just few meters ahead of Binatoli.nud83dude4fud83cudffbnThis temple was built during the rule of the Katyuri dynasty, who have ruled this region till 8th and 12th century.
