Churia Dham comes under the typical Etangar block of Simdega district. After reaching Churia, the road passes a little further down the mountain and will have to go there and then the car has to be parked there and climb the mountain. The priests of Churia Dham live in the township below the nearby mountain. If you have come to visit, then it is very important to take them along because they have the key to the temple. You have to climb the mountain on foot through footpaths, there is no PCC built there. On reaching there, you will see the temple. On entering the temple, you will see Lord Shankar who is present in the form of Shivling. There are rocks above, yet you will find some flower trees from where you can take flowers for worship. You can get shade in those trees too.nnNote: - You have to make adequate arrangement of water before climbing the mountain ..
