Donald MacDonald Campground

An amazing place for camping. Very clean park with clean bathroom/shower. The camp-host, William and Lisa were very friendly and helpful. They were amazing. Will definitely be back for a 3rd time!!

Clean and well kept, semi private

I've camped here for 4 years in a row & every year, this spot gets nicer. The sites are big & private, the facilities are clean & the price is right. Dan, a ranger, is terrific and truly cares about the park & campers. I'd give it 5 stars on weekdays, just 4 for the weekend as late night parties continue to disturb tent camping.

I highly recommend this camping ground, There are plenty of sites available, some even have electric. It is mostly primitive camping, however, I did see a couple of RV's in the first driveway. You can stay up to 2 weeks and they have a limit as to how many days you can stay there in a 6 month period. There are bathrooms and showers, a sitting/fishing area on the river, a boat ramp, children's playground area and hiking trails. All sites come with tables as well as fire rings. Staff is super nice and very helpful.
