We stayed here as a base for daily trips to Death Valley. It is about 30 minutes from the entrance to the park. It offers nice and clean rooms, amenities (pool and span), a casino (obviously - although we didn’t enjoy any of it), a mini market and a gas station, and a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.nStaff was overall very nice to us.nThe hotel decor is quaint and a tad old fashioned, which actually adds to the charms of the place.nGood place to stay if you’re visiting (South) Death Valley!

Great place! So glad we experienced it. Decor is very cool- antique filled rooms and walls- cool things to look at everywhere. Casino was small but big enough for our tastes. Food in cafe was good. Room large and clean- outdoor pond lovely. Greeted upon arrival by ducks and a rooster- small petting zoo as well with lovely gentle donkey. Large convenience store- everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay and in the middle of nowhere!

I had a great stay here! My room was not fancy, but it was clean. All the staff I interacted with were very nice. I ate at the restaurant inside and it was good. Honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy my stay because the hotel seems to be in a remote location, but it served as a great base camp for my day trips into Death Valley. Plus, they have gas and a small store inside. I am certainly staying here the next time I make a trip to Death Valley.

What a surprising oasis! And at just the right time! Full hook-up, pretty pond with wonderful art, real ducks and geese. Edge of Death Valley so HOT and no shade. Recommend!

What a great place to stop in eat and do some sight seeing. Friendly staff and the food was delicious! Has a lot of history there as well so take the time and explore this little spot. Didn't get 5 star only because I didn't get a room and I am not sure how the rooms are or would be. In any matter, still a fun stop to visit!!! Worth the little detour if riding Death Valley!
